God is helping my girlfriend come to know Him

My girlfriend and I have been dating for about 5 years. She isn’t a Christian but I am and my conviction and faith has become a lot stronger over time. I always wanted my girlfriend to come to know Christ but for herself. She has so many amazing qualities which I know God gifted her with including her heart for people, her unconditional love towards me, her patience, her willingness to learn and the fact that she is teachable. I knew she was the woman for me but it really bothered me that she wasn’t ready to yet take that step with her faith. She came along to church with me a couple of Sundays but more because she knew it made me happy rather than because that’s how she wanted to spend her time. I then went to church one Sunday and wrote on a prayer card. I felt so moved by the service that I went up to receive prayer. I felt the prayer that was prayed over me so much that I went home and prayed some more. One of my prayers was that my girlfriend would come to know and love God for herself. A week later, I couldn’t make church service. My girlfriend, however, told me that she still wanted to go to church even though I wouldn’t be there. I am convinced that this is the start of a process and I thank God for his mercy and compassion. God is GREAT.
