God provides!

I was going through a really difficult time. Lots of things appeared to be going wrong around me (when it rains, it pours, right?) and I started to become really discouraged. One of the biggest issues at the time was that I was in a dead end job that wasn't paying me enough to provide for myself. I spoke to a spiritual elder who encouraged me to pray and fast and reluctantly, I decided to commit to praying and fasting for two months.
The first month was really difficult and it didn't feel like anything got better, but in the second month, things became a bit easier and I started having dreams. I felt like I was getting assurance that things would be fine. I asked God for guidance and provision during this period and my cousin (without knowing my circumstances) contacted me and told me that there was a position opening in her office and that she wanted me to send my CV. Interestingly, I had applied for the same role in the same month a year before and had been unsuccessful but I felt encouraged to apply again so sent her my CV. I was shortly after invited to interview and asked to sit a number of tests. It all happened pretty quickly and truth be told, I didn't feel all that prepared for these tests but I passed everything and ended up being offered the role.
I was astonished. This was the job that I did not initially get but ended up getting in the same month a year later! The start date for the role was not for a little while though and it was in London. I didn't live in London at the time and knew that rents were high there so I was under some pressure to find somewhere to live that was affordable.
During the period before I started, one of my friends who was living in London mentioned that he was looking for a flat mate as his previous flat mate was moving out. The rent was affordable and the flat was a 15 minute commute to work but at that time, I didn't have the money. I still told him that I was interested.
I then ended up helping to care for one of my uncles who had unfortunately suffered from a stroke. Before I left, he ended up giving me a significant sum of money as a way of saying thank you. Amazingly, this sum was sufficient to cover my first rent bill.
God always provides and my testimony has reiterated this to me. I pray that whatever you're believing for, you remember that God has already resolved the matter.
