An on time God

We have a flat which we originally kept for investment purposes. However, due to changes in UK laws and policies around renting, we decided it would make most sense to try to sell the flat. We have been fair landlords throughout the entire time that our flat has been rented - barely raising the rent and always on time to resolve issues that our tenants may face. However, we felt as though, with all the upcoming changes, the money tied up in the flat could be better used invested elsewhere. As such, we gave our tenants notice in accordance with our contract. The flat is an attractive property in a good area but unfortunately, struggled to sell due to market conditions being so bad (anyone who has tried to sell property in the UK over the last few years will know what I’m talking about!). We therefore decided to take it off the market and put it back on the rental market. The problem is that we needed new tenants to move in (and start paying rent) by September 2025 as our old tenants had already made arrangements to leave and we could not afford to pay two mortgages. Despite the flat being an attractive flat, we also had a number of people view but decide not to rent it for one reason or another or they were not proceedable. To make matters worse, due to the rental market also being more favourable for tenants, many tenants were also only willing to pay less than market rate which, if accepted by us, would mean that we’d be renting at a loss.

So with a few weeks left to D day, we started to pray and trust God that He would do what He does best - PROVIDE. And guess what, He did. Not only did He find us new tenants just in time but they were willing to pay MORE than the value we had asked for as they really loved the property and paid 6 months in advance. This is significant as it also came at a time when we were in need of some extra money to cover some unexpected bills that arose for us. They now continue to pay us early each month and have been great tenants overall.

He is an ON TIME God and so very kind. Please do continue to trust Him, whatever you are believing for. You will not be put to shame.
