He planned my path

Unusually for an Oxbridge student, not only did I get saved at university, I left university without a job but a promise that "the people of this nation will hear your voice". This subsequently led to me to Parliament where I had no previous connections or strategic relationships.

Since graduation, I have worked for a number of notable Parliamentarians in both Houses of Parliament. I went on to lead Islington Citizens as part of Citizens UK, a grassroots community organising hub whose founder trained alongside Barack Obama in south Side Chicago in his bid to equip ordinary people with the necessary tools to hold those in power to account. Whilst at Citizens UK, I co-founded a mentoring charity, the Promise Foundation. The Promise Foundation’s main aim has been to tackle educational disadvantage by providing mentoring, advice and training to young people from underprivileged backgrounds. Central to everything we do is our commitment to social mobility and our belief that this should be a collective responsibility. In addition, I am now serving as a Labour Councillor for my home ward in the London borough of Brent.

So, I'm excited about the future and wait in anticipation for the full manifestation of God's word. Despite having received significant press coverage reporting my testimony over the past few years, I'm convinced that the Lord will not retire me but shall continue to use me until the people of this nation hear His voice through mine.
