Provision for our wedding

This I'm sure will be one of many testimonies I will post about my wedding experience. Even though it's the start of the process as I just got engaged in April to my incredible fiance, we are just trusting God to make a way and provide at every step, as we didn't have any savings towards a wedding.
Our first testimony
We were looking at wedding venues for a little while, as we had a number of requirements we wanted to tick for the perfect reception venue. This included a venue that: was big enough for 300 people, had greenery, had accommodation on site and a certain style we both had in mind. After visiting a few venues, none of them ticked all of our boxes and none of them felt like the place we wanted to get married.
In the weeks following, we decided to look a little further afield than our original catchment area and came across a really stunning location which appeared to be everything we were looking for. The only thing that I worried about was how we were going to afford the total fee. At this point, even the paying the installments were a concern given that we hadn't saved. So, I prayed about it for the week approaching the viewing.
The day of the viewing arrived and a representative showed us around. When speaking with us, she asked us about the wedding date that we were looking at, which was Friday 1st May 2020. We chose this Friday as it would have led into the bank holiday weekend, meaning that our guests could enjoy our wedding and still feel as though they had an extra day to relax and recover before heading to work after the weekend. She responded that 1st May was no longer available but informed us that the government had recently announced that the early May bank holiday weekend for 2020 would be moved to the following Friday! To my knowledge, this has never happened in my lifetime before. She therefore encouraged us to look at the Thursday before the bank holiday Friday. Anyone who has planned a wedding will know that Monday-Thursday is often significantly cheaper than having a wedding on a weekend. So, because the bank holiday had been moved, we were now able to have our wedding on a Thursday and save about £3,000 on the venue and accommodation. It was truly a God moment!
God answered my prayers. He made it all come in budget, plus ticking every single thing we wanted for our venue. All I can say is, we thank you God!
