Unexpected provision for our wedding and start as a married couple

We were planning our wedding and also trying to buy a house around the same time. Though we had budgeted, saved a decent amount and our parents and family members were contributing as much as they could, it became more and more difficult to reconcile what was coming in salary-wise against what we still needed to pay our vendors. Also, we had to cancel our original venue due to logistics. As a result of this, they said if they didn’t get another couple to take the venue for that date, we would have to cover their losses as our cancellation would amount to a breach of contract.
We are just grateful to God that it all worked out and He truly opened the doors of provision for us so that we did not lack on our wedding day and thereafter. A couple of weeks to the wedding, the original venue got in contact with us and said another couple had booked the venue for the relevant date so we were not liable for any additional costs! Then, a lot of people that we did not even expect started to bless us - every other day it was as if someone was depositing money into our accounts, and sizeable amounts too, I might add. This continued even on the wedding day; so much so that we were able to furnish our house with all the blessings we received.
I think the keys are to ask God for wisdom, favour and for His blessings to take you through the wedding period. Although we prayed for financial blessings, wisdom was important for us to make the right choices at the right times. Favour also meant that people would just decide in their heart to bless us and we knew it was all because of God. Finally, we were not unrealistic in our budgeting or desires - I think it’s important to not be lavish in spending but to make decisions wisely. God will likely bless a genuine heart in a difficult situation due to realities of life.
I’m sure God that did it for us will do it for you too!
